Your Vegan Retreat Hosts
Sophie and Lee, at TEDxPerth, Western Australia
Your English hosts, Sophie and Lee, settled in the beautiful South West of France after nearly twenty years in Australia, seeking a life rooted in good food, creativity and countryside calm.
Sophie had been vegetarian from a young age, while Lee was a lifelong meat eater who’d never really considered anything different. That changed the day after their wedding in 2018, when—motivated by health, environmental and ethical reasons—they switched together to a vegan diet. Within weeks, they noticed remarkable changes: weight loss and a renewed sense of wellbeing. Blood tests later confirmed impressive improvements in key health markers, including exceptional heart health for Lee’s age.
Their transition was full of learning, creativity and flavour, and they soon discovered how simple and satisfying vegan cooking could be. Today, they’re passionate about sharing what they’ve learned—helping guests cook confidently, make healthy meals quickly and enjoy plant-based food that’s every bit as rich and exciting as traditional fare.

Our hosts, committed to this way of eating since 2018, bring thoughtful creativity to every dish, honouring both your health and the planet.
